RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

Ok, got this plane at a swap meet and have it set up with an E-flite power 90 (seeing it takes a 90 fuel). Still thinking about the prop size, but will try to match the RPMs I've seen listed using...

RE: Skyshark P-40 updated?

Bought one from Skyshark, very happy with the kit, as scale as I need it to be, great flying plane for a great price!

I read the build threads when I want to buy an ARF and look to see what I'm...

RE: Spiderman Jet Meet!!!

I spoke to a lady about the set-up of a foam twister on Sat. Is she on this site? Does anyone have info on this plane that was flown on Sat? I have one that does not fly so well.

BTW This is a...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

I agree thrust vectoring is not state of the art, but there is fun to be had with the air hogs group! I myself like the Tyco thrust vectoring P-51 for gym floor flying. As for "ruining the hobby for...

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

I'm more of a fan of the WWII planes. The P-38, P-51, and P-47. The 51's and the 47's had it covered and were looking great. Lots of scale details to check out.

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

WWI was covered in force, some of those flew during the WWI gaggle. Even though I had my Great Plains DR1, I'm not ready to fly in a sky that crowded yet. I heard somewhere between 8 and 11 planes...

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

I had a few more pictures to share to keep this thread alive. I really liked seeing all the Corsairs in the air. The sky over Indiana had a Pacific feel.

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

To all those that stopped by to say "Hi", talk about electric flight, and make this first timer feel welcome... A heart felt Thank You for making this something to remember. I'm sure I'll be talking...

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

After seeing videos and cover stories, it was great to get a chance to see some of these planes first hand up close. I really liked the bomb drops and TP which really got the crowd going.

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

This was my first time to hear the jets in person. People would stop what they were doing and watch as they sliced the air with speed and grace. Great job guys! Even with the wind you made the...

RE: Indiana Warbird Campain : You Goin ?

It was my first event also and I'm glad I came! All three days were really great, more than I hoped for. Thanks to all who had a hand in making this a fun weekend. Here are some shots I took of the...

RE: CMP giant scale Zero build

My CMP Zero has the H-9 P-47 retracts on it. At this time they are not setup to retract, just to supply gear for landing (Warbirds over Indiana coming up) that I needed quick. I tried them and found...

WOW, I bought this and 2 other online models a while back and thought I would see what was out there on it. Found this thread and started at page one. Talk about a lot of reading! I have learned so...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

Great info from all, Thanks!. I have both the AF1 and AF2 sitting around waiting on bashing. This info will really help. Knowing that there is a weight in the nose will help with lipo placement so I...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

Still waiting to send mine up, but at this point it will at least have elev and rudd. I have learned in the past that these type of flyers need a change of CG when adding elev. They are set up so...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

It looks like a sound flier and built about as well as I had hoped, for the price. I have mine set up to fly on my JR 9303 with a Berg RX and two ESC's, so I can get around the 'shutting it off and...

RE: old air hogs jets?

flyace,
If you are talking about one that looks like a big boeing airliner, try Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4179936 I have one, but mainly for hacking up and...

RE: Aero Ace flying tip thread

At first I started adding a penny to the nose to get an almost level flight (a little climb) at full throttle. Got in lots of flights in both light and no wind. I would just fly around full throttle...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

It came in today looking like the box had been opened, but the parts were still taped in place. I put it together (5 min) and I tested it after a battery charge. The left stick (throttle) is spring...

RE: micro flyer problems!!!!!(anyone?)

From the way you are talking I'm thinkinig it's a single motor w/rudder plane. I have one that sounds like that, but a picture would help. Anyway, I have been sticking "AA" and "Single Wing" guts...

RE: AIR HOG ROOM RAIDER 4+, 8 FOOT ROOM ??????

Worked with the Room Raider in a hanger this weekend and it was just ok. It needs more room, but can fly in that area or less after learning in a far bigger area. It gets old fast, but not as fast if...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

I have one on order and hope it's not a dog. From what I understand about the 2 fan model, it has one speed "on" or as they say in the ad world 2 speeds "on and off". I'm thinking it will fly like an...

RE: new Silverlit plane at TRU

Ok, just a thought but how about this. I remove the Rudder ACT from two SW's. Then place them on the wings as Ailerons. I would hook one up backward so it would roll left or right with the stick, but...

RE: new Silverlit plane at TRU

Great info micro_builder, thanks!
I was looking at the SW and noted it had 3 wires coming from the motor. I was thinking this was a brushless motor, am I right about that? Also at this point the...

RE: new Silverlit plane at TRU

micro_builder,
The only thing I don’t like about this plane is flying with others and getting AM RX glitches. The stock AA / SW stuff is great for test planes or swapping into free fliers, but...
