I made a rectangle out of 3/8 ply that fit between W4 and W5, from under the rails to the top of the wing then apoxied them in. I wondered about the weight but thought it was worth it.

gmohr Nice job so far. I don't know if you have seen it on the thread, but many have reinforced the gear rails. They seem to be a weak spot in this kit.
Too many of them have ended going through...

Try moving your wheels so the leading edges are turned in a little bit. It has worked for me on other kits.
I've been flying this model since the begining off the season without any issues.

I'm going to fly with a JXF 16x8.
I used the master airscrew to run it the first few times.
I'll use 2 master airscrews to make a four blade static display prop.
