what is extreme speed?

I was laying on the backside of the hill when Paul was hitting 170+mph DSing, and left wet spots on the dirt!

The DS guys are now hitting about 186mph at the last DS Fest.

Actually, I thought 200mph is what the 2002 F5D Pylon Worldchamp did to go the distance he did in 66...

Went flying today with my Surprise 9 on 27 cells.
F5B plane, 16x16 carbon folder, hits about 140 in three seconds after launch...lots of fun. see at Shredair.com under F5B planes.

Putting together an Avionic D99, 40" span, carbon,Kevlar with a Hacker F40..should be going about 180Mph.

Sokol Electric at 120mph

Had a friend time me with his radar gun while doing Pylon type laps at the local field today..over 125mph in the straights..what fun!
Using an Aveox 1005/3 on 7 500ar cells(red)

a bit faster...

Or go to an auto paint supply and ask for "thin line" stripping tape.
You can get it in 1/16- 3/8 width, I use 1/8. create the spaces you want painted with this flexible, fine edged tape, then tape...

The DG 600 from Multiplex could be what you are looking for.
Built well, glass fuse, wonderful flier, but a tad bit more than 400.
