RE: Burned it Up!!

It sounds like you burn the ESC up. When a motor burns up and if it shorts it can pull a lot of current.

RE: airplane speed control w/ surface transmitter

You should have no problem other than most Tx for ground use transmits on a different frequancy than a TX for air and it is against FFC rules to use a ground frequancy for air.

RE: E - Flite 25 - What Battery ????

Don M, you will pull less amps with the 4S than the 3S so it depends on how many watts you want to pull. To get 500 watts with a 4s you will pull 34 amps, with a 3s to get 500 watts 45 amps. so if...

RE: Compare them

RE: great planes extra 330

Good choice in the servo's. As for the C rating on the battery, you multiply the Ma of the battery by the C rating and that will give you the max amps you can pull from the battery, so a 2100ma with...

RE: great planes extra 330

The HS-55 will work but if you are going to do heavy 3D, I would go to the HS-85. On the 15C Battery, as long as you use a min of 2100ma for a max of 31 amp draw it will be fine. Good luck with the...
