RE: Sebart Wind S Pro

For those of you flying with the wing fences, is it possible to not install them permanently? Basically, is there a way I can put mine on and then take them off again if I don't like them?

RE: Sebart Wind S Pro

Steve,
Do you ship to the US? If so, do you have a website I could order these fences from?

Thanks,

RE: Help! - Radio problems in flight

Alan,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

1) Yes, the silver part of the antenna does touch the fuse. I'll correct that.
2) Good to hear that power isn't a problem. I never got a...

Help! - Radio problems in flight

I flew my new pattern plane this morning for the first time. It's a composite fuselage (Sebart Wind S Pro) and I'm using an Aurora 9 with an Optima 7 Rx.

I did a range check before flying and...

RE: Sebart Wind S Pro

I have a couple of questions about the wing tube for this plane.

1) Does the included tube seem a bit long? Does it really need to be as long as it is?
2) I've noticed people talking about how...

What power source does everyone use for field charging?

I'm moving towards flying a 10s plane for the first time (Sebart Wind S Pro) and I was wondering what everyone uses for power when they go to competitions. Car batteries? Generators? Multiple smaller...

Scorpion F3A Motor?

Is anyone using the new Scorpion F3A motor? I have a few Scorpion motors and I like them, but does this one do the job for a 2m plane?

Any info you have would be appreciated.

Thanks,

RE: 12z (72 MHz) antenna with base?

Since this was posted just before RCU did its maintenance, I'm going to bump it up so it doesn't get lost.

Thanks,

12z (72 MHz) antenna with base?

My antenna on my 12z (72MHz) is stuck inside the Tx. It just turns and clicks. I can't unscrew it to get it out.

I took off the top part of the Tx where the antenna attaches and got the ball and...

RE: Optima Rx's and cold weather problems

Brendan,
I think you may have found my problem.

I was concerned about the moisture as well, so I put the plane in my car again overnight in the garage. It's still cold here, so this is...

RE: Optima Rx's and cold weather problems

No, I did not make any changes to the modes. Also, the plane I had at home worked just fine without any re-binding.

Optima Rx's and cold weather problems

I have two planes with Optima 6 Rx's that I took flying this weekend. I should note that both of these planes have been spot-on reliable since this summer.

Both planes stayed in my car in the...

RE: Sebart Miss Wind S 50E

Doogiehl,
If you go with the CC ICE 75, you won't need a BEC. It is built-in and will handle 6s no problem. I have two of them (one in this plane, the other in my Helios).
I'm not...

RE: Sebart Miss Wind S 50E

I used a ton of extensions in this plane.

I have Hitec digitals in the tail and HS-65MGs in the wings. My Rx is roughly centered on the bottom wing strapped to the battery tray.

For that...

RE: Sebart Miss Wind S 50E

JrRex,
I did not have to add any weight to get her to balance. I use a Scorpion 4020-16, ICE 75, and a Rhino 6S 3700mah pack. My pack is up against the front former. The ESC is there as well.
