RE: idle up or not

Ah, I didn't know it was called "idle up" I just called them different flight modes. I have the DX7 and pretty much only use 0 (normal) right now as I haven't made it past hovering. :p

RE: O Ring Damper missing(?) and one torn

Really? I'll have to check the miscellaneous spare parts that came with it. Not sure why I didn't do this to begin with. /smackforehead

RE: REALLY ANNOYED, first crash not my fault

Oh hell, I'm having fun with it! I think I'm still in the clear. Just got my new MX-5 convertible and the heli. It definitely attracts attention when you're out in an abandoned parking lot...

RE: Head Washer missing(?) and one torn

Oh well, I just ordered a new set from Joe over at Tech Model Products along with some spare blades and (finally) a head tach figuring maybe I'm spinning up too high. [sm=red_smile.gif] Yeah, I...

RE: REALLY ANNOYED, first crash not my fault

I'm new to all this, so I don't know if it makes that big of a difference. I just noticed it because I was buying some spare blades.

RE: REALLY ANNOYED, first crash not my fault

You use 315s instead of 325s? Mine came with 325s and I just assumed replacing it with the same length is required. 450SE V2 New (not sure if the "old" had 315s...)

O Ring Damper missing(?) and one torn

I was adjusting the heli tonight and ran across what I'm pretty sure is why I can't get the tracking right. According to the book, I think I should have 4 rubber O-rings and they should all be...

RE: Slow spinup on the head

Ahh.. I figured it out.. it was my ESC settings. Now on to a more serious matter... a missing bushing and a torn bushing in my head. [&o]

RE: Slow spinup on the head

It could be a slow start setting. I vaguely remember something like that. It's a typical 450SE V2 new build, align motor, ESC, and battery. Nothing really spectacular. It's all in my model spec:...

Slow spinup on the head

I noticed today when I was re-tracking my blades that it feels like the the rotor takes longer to spin up. When it's up to speed, the motor seems to react better, but initially getting the blades...

RE: Head adjustment?

It's currently in pieces . When I get my spare parts and get it all assembled again I'll do another test run and see if it still does it then post pictures. I figured I'd find if there was...

Head adjustment?

I have a real quick question as it's kept my bird on the ground for fear of loss of control and the fact that I did lose control. I spent an extreme amount of time IMO aligning the head and making...

RE: Best balancing charger??

I bought a Cellpro4S with my 450SE V2 New Heli. Have charged the included Align battery MANY MANY times and it still works like a charm. No bloating, overheat or any of that fun stuff. Either I...

RE: T-REX 450SE V2 Build Question

Hmm, yeah. I saw his videos, but I don't remember him saying anything about the link direction unless I missed a video. I have the ball link pliers and it made snapping them on/off really easy...

RE: T-REX 450SE V2 Build Question

It's an LG vx9900 (ENV) Cell phone camera :D It's pretty good for close shots, but it tends to have it's good days and it's bad. One if of me driving through Northeast Ohio (snapping random photos...

I have the stock align 11.1V 2100mAh 20C battery and a CellPro 4S charger. I keep reading about how everyone has batteries that warm up when they are charged, but I haven't had this happen yet. ...

RE: T-REX 450SE V2 Build Question

This is how I'm setting mine up. (I'm not done with all my alignment yet so I didn't trim the arms.)

RE: A freak accident caution

Wow, I'm sort of glad I'm getting into this now and going with the DX7 with 6100 Receiver instead of fiddling with all this.

It's sad though that it crashed so hard for such a small thing. [:o]

RE: New Trex 450 SE V2 (assembly question)

Also, if you only plan on cutting the wires without opening the case, you'll need to know a few things. You need a load on the power supply to make it work. Most PC P/S can't output energy without...

RE: New Trex 450 SE V2 (assembly question)

Sure, I don't have my charger yet, but when it comes, I will just be running the power leads form the charger to the Ground (Black) and +12V (Red just below the black) posts. The loose gray wire in...

RE: Where to buy Trex 450 SE V2

FYI, I just got my 20C 2100 (it does say 20C 2200 right on the battery) Align battery with my V2 (430XL). I'm getting the CellPro 4S charger and adapter. I'll have to keep this thread in mind if I...
