RE: Large Scale Cub Build 50cc Gas

Yes, I did a two piece wing. I used 1" square aluminum tubing for the spar. The weight is about 17lbs. It is a real floater.

I find building with coro gets heavy, fast. I built a 16'...

RE: Large Scale Cub Build 50cc Gas

RE: Senior Telemaster

I love flying my tele low and slow, constantly dragging wing tips on the ground for fun. The rubber bands, while a pain in the neck, have saved me a time or two.

RE: Senior Telemaster

I tie 2 #64s together and hook them in a 7 pattern. I have had the dowel pull out through the top of the fuse using a single 64. I do this with 8 pairs on each side.

RE: Are small electric foamies becoming a problem at your field ?

I think I would get out my foam eating plane and fly the circuit with them. I think my 22lb, 2x4 fuse, 8' span plywood wing would do the trick. Of course that would be after I got done flying my...

RE: Retract cycling

I thought the DX7 failsafe only effects the throttle. I have the same problem with the same radio. I was never able to cure it.

RE: is it just me?

Worse than that is the videos that take 2 minutes of ground footage. Showing me the entire preflight. Big deal, the ailerons moved. I have gotten to where I turn those videos off at about the 20...

RE: Stronger gears for Hitec HS 55?

The OP mentions rotating the main gear 180 degrees and reusing it. How can that be done with the key on the shaft?
