Shorter antenna for 35mhz transmitter

Hi as a newcommer to helicopters i have a lama v3 this heli is flown indoors for most of the time and i find the antenna gets in the way so have been using transmitter with antenna partly extended.

Hi just aquired what i believe is a russian diesel engine 1970s?
The engine has a ballraced crankshaft.
Tthe crankcase and cylinder appear to be quite heavily built and has a sand cast finish
...
