I just went ahead and ordered both upgraded upper and lower gears. ill keep the thread updated.

I may have the answer to my own question. Some of the gears on my lower blades are chewed up. Know of any good replacements besides the plastic ones?

I dont have a multimeter. and yes I have replaced the shaft after a nasty one.
