Anyone done a Spit comparison review? - I imagine it would be popular.

Interested in stand-off scale Spit with retracts / ret capable with very docile handling and slow flying intermediate...

Believe it or not i have become addicted to the £19 foam LEE Piper cubs (complete with radio!!) - must be on my 4th, however all suffer from early nicad failure - comes with 4 cells in series, each...

did you get the one i mentioned earlier in the thread with the free upgrades: lipo, brushless, twin aileron servos, st nose, smooth mouldings etc?

cheers kmot - I have to say that I am lusting after one of these little babes, i just want to be sure that i dont have to scream it around trhe sky in fear of making slow turns - I shall go 65"...

i am seeing repeated reference to tip stalling and inability to fly at scale appearance speeds - has anyone tweaked the standard config to offset these tendencies?

I quite fancy the idea of a retractable EDF now they are becoming more efficient I think the performance should be adequate - also shape of EDF should retract into the cylindrical fuse nicely -...

...or just lay up a thin covering of kevlar all over...??!! - Carbon wing anybody? (little over sized to compensate for weight should work?)
