That is what I do for my electric spad trainer I don't like the foam wings and an all 2mil with 4mil rons is a pretty light way to go.

I drill 5-10 1/8 holes every 6"starting at the edge of both mating surfaces mix my poly glue and water in a dixie cup stir for 30 seconds then squeegee the glue over the areas that have been drilled ...

That was my thought moving to a 6s2p and changing the prop to a 13X10e the flight times will be short but will add better battery this is for training a few friends how to fly and me on what to use...

I have luck with using some wd40 in the carb after running fill up the carb with wd and turn it over a few times it's ready to go next time out.
