top speed was maybe 15-20 mph. im not a real good judge of that...i will take the motor out and check over it to see if anything is damaged and try to break it in...

no this is not a traxxas product. this is the excede sunfire buggy. im just tryin to do a few upgrades to it.

haha..sorry for the confusion, i guess when i say side by side i mean the configuration of the cells, not 2 seperate packs! i wish i could do that!!

well i was thinking i was going to have to run a pack with the 7th cell offset on the top of one of the end of the pack, but it looks like the spot for the battery has enough room for a side by side...

ok, i just got a traxxas xl-5 esc...i believe it lets me run a 12 turn 550 or a 15 turn 540 motor...any new suggestions? im also going to be running a 7 cell ni-mh pack...
