top speed was maybe 15-20 mph. im not a real good judge of that...i will take the motor out and check over it to see if anything is damaged and try to break it in...

no this is not a traxxas product. this is the excede sunfire buggy. im just tryin to do a few upgrades to it.

having the fastest buggy and being able to drive that buggy are two different things...if your just getting into the sport you may not want to go so crazy at first. get some experience and upgrade...

haha..sorry for the confusion, i guess when i say side by side i mean the configuration of the cells, not 2 seperate packs! i wish i could do that!!

well i was thinking i was going to have to run a pack with the 7th cell offset on the top of one of the end of the pack, but it looks like the spot for the battery has enough room for a side by side...

awesome! i put in a 20 turn stinger motor from an old traxxas today and it helped a little, but i want more! haha i will order the co27 and let ya know how it goes, thanks guys.

ok, i just got a traxxas xl-5 esc...i believe it lets me run a 12 turn 550 or a 15 turn 540 motor...any new suggestions? im also going to be running a 7 cell ni-mh pack...
