RE: Leopard Red Series vs. Turnigy XK Series (comparison)

I have seen that as a few of the guys in the office have Ford f-150 trucks. One guys got the new V6 eco boost and the comparisons were not far behind. The eco boost is more powerful, has higher tow...

RE: Leopard Red Series vs. Turnigy XK Series (comparison)

No not missing the point. If you want to find out how close they actually are in build design or if they are actually rebranded clones, you should have taken apart similar model numbers which you did...

RE: Leopard Red Series vs. Turnigy XK Series (comparison)

As mentioned you are comparing a 4 pole Leopard to a 2 pole Turnigy. For sure you will see a difference in efficiency. The test is rather useless IMHO. Kinda like comparing 2 identical cars with one...

RE: Is this setup any good?

Sounds good to me and falls into the acceptable area in motor kv/cell quantity. http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=44465&d=1302274810

RE: HK Aparition Hull - First time hull build

The sharp bend you have in the brass tube will not work for long before the drive cable binds up/breaks. You can't have a kink like you have shown. A gradual curve over a long distance is what you...

RE: HK Aparition Hull - First time hull build

Hmmm, quite neat. Do you use a measuring tape to line up the bottles and tools when you put them back or calipers? :)

RE: Traxxas Spartan worth the $?

You are correct, a construction helmet is very strong however a Spartan hull is no more than .5 mm thick at best which makes it quite weak. Lets see, a sandwich baggie is also made from plastic but...

RE: LARGE SCALE F1 OUTBOARD 'ELECTRIC'

Good combo but as with any setup in these high numbers you will need to monitor amps and not get too carried away with over propping. Your prop will regulate the amp draw depending on it's size which...

RE: LARGE SCALE F1 OUTBOARD 'ELECTRIC'

RE: ERevo 1/10

Well TBJ I did a little research and would have had to dish out another $115 to get the hp version but figured I may have my hands full with the 4s version. Besides that, the hp version is actually...

RE: ERevo 1/10

Well the $500 e-revo brushless was a dud. It had a broken a arm and was actually the lower end brushed version of the e-revo. [:o] I always said "every thing happens for a reason"

Did a little...

RE: HK Aparition Hull - First time hull build
