mcd do an off orad conversion kit, which includes longer shocks and rally/offroad tyres.

i'l be fitting that soon, its next on my list!

the bergonzoni shell is almost cartoon like, the arches are too wide, the front end doesnt look right either...the mcd shellmis the best representation of the lancia delta.

i agree..it looks best the way its meant to be..! i delighted with the way it turned out, it was quite a difficult job..then the decal were tricky too..with those curves and edges on the body..i used...

mcd dont factory paint any of thier shells..

the main agent/suppliers, will have them professioanlly done at thier expense and sell them on at profit..

i paid extra and bought my shell...

yeh, stays on just fine! continue to use the 4 body posts on the top, but dont clip them. dont worry, the shell will stay on with velcro even when flatout!

i recently upgraded the engine in my mcd..4x4 needs plenty of torque.. so the work below was done to a 26cc zenoah head..for serious torque! all work done by stevo stevesracingbits.co.uk..bottom end...

you cant use the ddm dominator with the tub..

i had the same dilema..i was running an off road beetle shell and tub..the ddm doesnt fit in the sheel or tub..it will fit the monster beelte shell...

if you are in the uk, your best place for mcd is king cobra, they are the main importers in the uk. rossendale models is the website that sels for king cobra..(search on google, i cannot post links)...

personally, i would keep the 2 speed..there is a big perfomance difference..faster acceleration & higher top end..i have 46/18 for first gear and 42/22 for 2nd, which is the high speed 2nd gear...

if you want to run with 1 speed, buy the correct size pinion and spur for 1 speed, you cannot use the 2 speed gear carrier as the dimensions are different..you will...
