i have a shockwave 55 and i alsao had a windshield, but i thought it was really annoying to try to start the boat with. I kept hitting my hand off of it. But i will keep looking anyway.

Did you check is the killswitch is on or off. On my shockwave 55 i always make sure the kill switch is on. Also close the choke and then try to start it.

normally deep vee's are the most stable. i have a supervee 27 and it is not that stable, so try to go for maybe a 32-35 inch.

Sorry for double posting, but also as pompebled said you could probably send it back to the manufacturor and get it fixed because you are still in the warranty.

Do you have an extra reciever? If you do take out the one thats in the boat and replace it. If not, try to go to the hobby shop thats near you and pick up another if it still keeps "twitching", then...

i got it right from my local hobbyshop. but its ok i got a metal one a little while ago.
The tape was still uncut. It doesn't matter anyway.

Blackjack is made of plastic, and the supervee is made of fiberglass. Plastic breaks under stress and fiberglass bends a little more.

The blackjack is made of a hard plastic not fiberglass, so it will have more stress. Fiberglass bends and flexes.
