RE: twin pack charge lead

Charging two 2cell packs as 4 cells would be charging in series. I would (and do) charge in parallel. To charge in parallel you would need a parallel balance plug and charge lead. How to parallel...

RE: steering servo for my Backdraft 8e/Earthquake 8e

The conversion is right ( 1 KG = 35.27 OZ). The reason the math seems wrong is because the KG rating is per centimeter and the once rating is per inch. Using the Hitec 5645 servo as an example we...

RE: Center skid plate - Flux HP

Yup, it's from a chunk of aluminum dryer duct I had lying around. The pop can might work, could be a little thin and tear too easy though. I used a plastic (polyethylene) cutting board for the two...

RE: Center skid plate - Flux HP

I guess it depends on where you drive because I was getting rocks wedged up in the rear diff cup joint/dog bone area a lot. It bugged me enough to build my own skid plate...

RE: Just changed my stock A arms to RPM, questions about setting up front end?

The pivot ball is seated farther into the stock A-arms while the pivot ball is suppose to be threaded into the RPM A-arms less, (just until the end of the pivot ball threads). This changes the Camber...

Thanks for the reply Mike.

I actually have a 985MG and 965MG but wanted to go digital with my new radio and use those for spares or for future vehicles.

That is good to hear that the...

HS-5965MG Servo problem?

I just purchased a Hitec HS-5985MG and a HS-5965MG to use with my Futuba 3PM 2.4GHZ on my Revo 3.3. The 5985 for steering seems fine but the 5965 sounds like it is always under load while sitting...

RE: offroad capabilities: jato vs rustler

I have a Jato 3.3 and as far as the speed goes, it's better to have it and not need it than it is to need it and not have it.;)

RE: Revo diffs

That diff set looks more serious than a heart attack (which I almost had after seeing the $300 price tag)!

Revo diffs

After running two gallons through my Revo 3.3 I thought it would be a good idea to check the diffs and replace/top up the diff oil with some 50K. After putting the oil in the front diff, screwing the...

RE: Revo Exhaust Header

That makes sense... I can see the black gasket will seal up the play in the header to engine connection but what about the different angle of the platinum header? Once the...

I just purchased a Traxxas spring mount header #5340X for my 3.3 and it doesn't seem to line up properly with the stock (painted black) exhaust pipe.
