you can use the black undercoat spray they use for cars, there's a 3M brand or just go to any auto supply like Kragen or Pepboys

great mod, just wanted to check if you got the new monsoon xtr or the old monsoon, looking at your links i'd say you got the xtr. if you do, could you post a pic of the clutchbell. thanks

PUT ON A 14T CLUTCH BELL FROM HURRICANE XTR, GOT ENGINE MOUNTS FROM 1/8 XTM MAMMOTH, SUGGEST YOU GET ONE FROM OFNA WITH 23-24 MM ENGINE MOUNT HOLES IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE REDCAT BLUE ENGINE MOUNT...

yeah, thought of that too. saw the sh .28 non pull engine, plan on using that backplate. but i still have to grind out the crankshaft part that connects to the pull start. did it on my os. 15...

when you say backplate, do you mean the roto-start backplate for the hand held starter, right. i saw a thread a while back saying he reversed the engine mounts to move the engine up, but he nenver...
