On your HBK2, where did you pick up the lighted switch? All the ones I have seen at the local are just plain dpst slide switches. I think the lighted version would be pretty nifty.

Don't forget to watch out for the belt pulley grip pin, If you try to pull the head straight out without catching the pin you can dork it up pretty good. It sits through the main shaft and fits...

Swash Plate Leveler: It was made for the Trex 450, but it should work for the HBK2.

I'm not sure I would even attempt to have one made, I was interested more or less in the physics of it. This is definitely a helpful tidbit, I've never had a solid grounding in gear components, so...

As a matter of curiosity, what would prevent someone from making a CNC milled metal main gear? I would think that would be a sick upgrade, might have to use a little bit of lubrication or graphite...

I think you are well on the way to getting started.


Yes, the belt pulley upgrade does include the wider idler pulleys. As for removing the main shaft/head it is a fairly straight forward...
