Castle Link and Sidewinder Micro

Hi,

I've just aquired a Sidewinder Micro, CM2042 BL motor and Castle Link which i've fitted into my XTM Rage.

I just wondered if anyone else has had any problems running a brushed motor...

Broke a knuckle last night for the first time, although I sheared off the pin at the top where the turnbuckle clips onto..... All because i had super sticky tires on and flipped it.

Yeah i didnt realise the castle was an inrunner when i ordered it. I ran the 3100 for 15 mins last night on 3s and it was pretty cool at the end of it, i could probably take it up a tooth or two.

No sign of them in the uk yet....

I just tried a 3s lipo in the stock car, its absolutely insane!!!! Motor gets hot real quick though.....

Anyone else stripped their servos? I've had one medium crash which broke the bumper and a servo, and one light scuff that stripped the new servo after 3 minutes light bashing......

My mate has a 25 year old Tamiya Sand Scorcher. Its been in the loft for a number of years and he has asked me to get it running again.

It has an old 7.2v 1100mah Ni-cd hump battery...
