I'm sorry, what's your point? Are you the moderator, or just someone with a fart of fire? You may have a slight point, but I'm missing your source of passion. Does it really bother you that much,...

I really hate when parts break, so here's what I did.

I scratched my head a bit for this one, I had to figure out how to make the mounts for the a-arm on a homemade bulk-head support. I decided to notch out the plastic and slide the mount into the notch...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

Yea, I know what you mean, the low end needles seem to go in forever. When the screw head of the needle is flush with the carb. body it is about 3 and 1/2 turns out from seat. It should stop...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

hmmm... Well, blubery I guess is a bit hard to explain. What I'm trying to explain is that when you run the engine too rich it looses power and makes a sound that sort of sounds like it is spitting...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

The tube going to the exhaust pipe from the engine is called the header. Just use the stock header on the Savage and the stock rubber coupler that connects the header to the pipe. Remove the...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

Here is a link for an Ofna pipe that I have and it works very well: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBZY9&P=7 . At $18.39 it's the best deal that I've seen anywhere for an aluminum...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

Well, the no.8 plug is a general use plug, not a cold plug like you should use. As far as the slow exceleration goes, it could be either rich or lean. The way to find out is to pinch the fuel line...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

The throttle only opening 3/4th of the way is because of the throttle return spring, remove it and you'll see what I mean. I wouldn't recomend running the truck without a throttle return spring, but...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

You haven't really caused your engine any damage, but over time it could. I've overheated my OS RG several times with no major consiquence, it's actually kind of good that the egine stops running...

Is it ok to run savage 21 on sand?

Not to be too technicial here, but sand is abrasive not corrosive. The finer the dirt the more places it can go and act abrasive on parts, that's why you should clean your bearings once and a while....

dominator/thunder quake

Try using a blow dryer to warm it up, and then when you get it running you can adjust it from there. Normally needles are adjusted 3 turns out from seat. Here's a really dumb question, how is the...

dominator/thunder quake

I have the Monster Pirate and I agree that it handles better at higher speeds than other monster trucks (ie. T-maxx and Savage) but those trucks are better for crawling. The Duratrax Torq .21 is...

Is it ok to run savage 21 on sand?

You definately want to get a two stage air filter, one grain of sand can kill your engine. You also may consider using silicone to seal the bottoms of the diff. housings, goto...

dominator/thunder quake

I never thought I would ever say this after owning a Duratrax Maximum ST, but I think that Thunder Quake is pretty cool. The two speed forward and reverse is nice and sounds like it is well built,...

most powerful .21 PS engine...

The Hyper 8-port at www.ultimatehobbies.com for $119.95 is a steal and about the best pull start engine you'll find, especially for that price! Make sure you get the 8-port and not the standard...

I would have to say that PC is stronger than stock plastic parts for the most part, of course that depending on the manufacture of the part. As far as the PC spliting, that sounds more like how it...

SAVAGE Fule Problem

O.K. here is your problem, it's called hydrolock. What this means is that the engine is overheating and because the carburator is part of the engine, the heat passes on to the carb. Once the carb....

If your car/truck is clean, you don't drive it hard enough, LOL! My buggy is about 2 1/2 years old, that's about as clean as it gets! I got the plastic from a plastic manufacture, the guy was super...

It's not really hard at all, it reminds me of plexi-glass except it's properties are very much different. I just used a jigsaw with a scroll blade to cut it. The neat thing about Lexan is that it...
