The guy I bought the Edge from says he doesn't like the side port carburetors for some reason? He didn't says exactly why. I think it had something to do with less power than the straight through...

Well I had one of those "DUH!!" moments when you said to push on the rocker instead of pull. It worked well, I also took your advice and changed the slave/student radio to a blank or fresh set up...

Yes, both are programmed the same in every respect, dual rates, expo, end points, I even set all the unused switches to the same locations, not that that matters. I thought that is what I needed to...

The Vess props are much thicker at the hub than most others. So most any other prop will fit into the slot for the Vess.

I took the carb apart and it looked good. nothing broken, dirty or plugged. It acted like it was super rich but abviously with the high needle shut all the way it wasn't rich. It has to be ignition...

If the drift key was sheared wouldn't the hub come off or at least spin on the shaft some? It looks like the magnet is in the same spot it always has been, with the motor mounted can down the magnet...

I have used it all last year to charge some small lipo's with a blinky balancer and it worked fine. This was the first time I tried it on a Nimh and it fried the pack and should have started my house...
