RE: Edge 540 25, 45

You may regret using hs81 servos. I just bought a dozen of them for sailplane use and so far one was junk out of the box and another failed in between flights. What is going on I don't know, but it...

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

Thanks Goran,
They look like they have good looking pilots and reasonable prices compared to what I have seen for busts in the U>S>

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

Hi Ken,
Could you tell me how long the flights are on the 32 oz. fuel tank. I am trying to decide whether to go for 25 oz. or 32 oz. . Normally fly for about 5 min at a crack, but if we go to a...

Hi Ken,
Sorry to hear about the Jungie. I almost have the wings on mine then I can finish the fuselage. It might fly in another 2 or 3 years at the rate I am progressing.

RE: Bucker Jungmann vs Jungmeister

The last time I checked Bob Holman Plans had a set of 1/4 scale plans for the Jungmann from england. He also used to have the fiberglass cowling for it.

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

The cowl I have is 11 in. at the back end. It is probably 10 - 10 1/2 at the forward end but you may be able to fit it in the blisters. The Decathalon is a good flying airplane Ken. The real one is...

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

Hi Ken,
The Decathalon is only about 2 ft. short of a Pitts - you ought to put a seat in it and fly it yourself :). How did your Waco turn out, it should have flown well. It would be interesting to...

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

That looks like it should last for a while Ken. Maybe I should make mine from 1/4 wire when I get that far.

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

Hi Guys,
With the caveat that I have worked on airplanes since I was 11 and my initials are CS K, which leads to a thing about airplanes being correct and quality control here is my two cents on...

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

Hi Guys,
That looks like the airplane that Sam Burgess built with an Allison 250 turbine in it. He had a Jungmeister and also built a replica airplane a few years ago. If I remember correctly he...

RE: CA Warning

Just for information.

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

I looked at the Waco web site Ken, beautiful looking airplane. I would be leery of using aluminum for the strut pins if you are going to fly aerobatics, it is very weak in shear loading and would...

Thanks for the info, that should work very well to stiffen it up. I am going to finish the wings and rig the center section with them installed (somehow). I know from previous experience that...

Finally made it back to the Jungmeister. Have the lower center section mounted on the fuselage, and finished the upper center section tonight. I have a question - when you moved the wing...

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister

I am almost back to the Bucker - another week or so I hope. There is an article by Emil Agosta in the December 1982 Model Aviation mag on how to make a scale exhaust system. It looks like...
