I measured the maximum distance you can push the cowl out and fount it to be about 6.25 inches and still have enough left to mount to the extensions on the firewall. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I am building a KMP Citabria and have it almost ready for the first flight. Thanks for the tips on the CG, I calculated the CG location based on 25% MAC and found it to be about 96 mm....
