CC Edge 540

Thanks to Chrisspad for posting the awesome CC Edge plans a few years ago. I have built mine (second one about 6 months ago) to his plans with a few exceptions.

In Australia, we can only get 3...

RE: SPAD Twist-VSF

Hi Kris

Thanks once again for clarifying those points a few months ago. It is built a little bit differently to your plans due to my lack of understanding and the unavailability of square...

RE: SPAD Twist-VSF

Thanks Kris for taking the time to produce the last drawing - I now understand it. I also realise why you call it a V shaped fuse! I'll work something out with the turtle deck and still finish mine...

RE: 6EX fault

Thanks Bax for your reply. I've already sent my transmitter to your address after reading a sticky post - there was no mention of an Australian repairer. Hopefully you will see it next week.

RE: Spad Extra won't knife edge

Knife edge is better now that cg is 0.5" towards the rear. It still wont climb but will hold altitude if the nose is high enough when entering knife edge. Maybe cg needs to go further to the rear,...

RE: Spad Extra won't knife edge

Thanks for the replies. Draftman I've got a 12.25 x 3.75 prop working on the more diameter, less pitch thrust idea. Villa, I'll try moving the c of g to the rear a bit, photo attached as requested....
