RE: 3 shoe clutch ?

Is the engine stock? It really looks like the clutchbell isn't back all the way. Sorry about the spelling lesson.

RE: wasp.28???

They just keep outdoing themselves, don't they? A couple of years ago, a .21 was considered overkill. Then came the 24.7, the .25, the .26, the .27, and now the .28! I love the Wasp .26 in my...

RE: 3 shew clutch ?

Based on the picture, I'd say your clutch bell isn't properly installed. Is it stock? By the way, it's "shoe", and "spur."

RE: Savage 25 or T-Maxx???

I like my Maxx because I can do anything to it. It's the greatest project truck of all time. Right now I've probably got $1000 sunk into it, and there's plenty more gonna happen to it! So I guess...

RE: RE: how old is everyone?

I'm 23. I'd played with "toy" rc cars since I was five, got my first real one in 02. I was on the internet looking for a good gift for my boy when I chanced upon the HPI Savage. I haven't been the...

RE: which is better

Haven't used either, but from what I can tell from what I've read they're both good.

RE: Savage 25 or T-Maxx???

Does the T-Maxx still out-accelerate the Savage, even with the new 25 engine? I have both trucks (old Savage with a Wasp 26 and new T-Maxx with new 2.5 engine) and the Savage is definitely faster. ...

RE: My savage is slow...help

Yeah, I wouldn't be leaning it yet. Probably wait until sixth, seventh tank at least. But that's just me.

RE: RE: Most bang for buck bashing hop-ups

.......and back to topic. Better steering servo, better servo saver, better air filter (Motor Saver), and whatever you can decipher from the spur gear argument. I use the plastic ones, and they are...

RE: Best engine "Werks picco vs. Orion Wasp"?

Find a good cooling head for the Wasp? As in, know who makes one?

RE: how do yuo make a savage faster than a buggy?

For the money, my vote is the Wasp 26. $160, and it is AWESOME.

RE: picco 26 or other engines?

I just put the Wasp 26 in my Savage, and all I can say is WOW. Okay, I guess that's not all I can say. This engine took my truck from being slightly underpowered but cool to AUTHORITATIVE. I love...

RE: ??? for T-Maxx Owners Only!

Someone has either produced or is in the process of producing a .21 drop-in. I think it's Sirio - can't be too bad. Oh never mind, you want to keep the EZ start. I don't know whether this engine...

RE: savage 21 maintanence...

I've taken the tranny apart because a pin broke off, needed replaced. The pro-line velocity-6s mounted on mine have been trouble-free.

RE: T-Maxx are Salvage ss?*? PLEASE VOTE!

No such thing as a Savage SS rtr. OK, I guess that's been covered. I have a Savage21, Tmaxx2.5, and a Dominator. The Savage is the only one running. I got tired of buying parts for the T-Maxx. ...

XTM Xfactor vs. T-Maxx vs. Savage 21?

Well, I'll agree with the "bank" part anyway. Titans are pretty expensive. Are they priced right?

Sirio 27xl

Sirio xl. I was waiting for someone else to say something about it. Looks like the engine to get for the Savage, doesn't it?

Hyper 21 8 port truble

When I had this problem with a friend's Dom, I found that the hsn was the biggest problem. Leaned it about a half turn before it ran right.
