Hi Yard dart

The mix was just 1 to 1 of part A and part B. I spread it about .25mm thick on the piece (guessing). You can use a spreader (I used like a plASTIC store gift card) or a foam brush.

Nicely put! Primered my F16 stab this afternoon. SS1000'd it yesterday morning! Looking good and this is really a test piec. Found a nice rubber squeegee today, so going to give that a go tomorrow.

I agree with Terry. Take your hoover (or vacumm if you dont haveaccess to a hoover) and use the brush attachment to get as much dust off as you can. Using an airline on it is also a good idea....

I only got "fish eyeing" when I used on foam that wasn't filled/sealed properly. The SS1000 drops into any holes and pushes the air out making the fisheye effect. As for the dust particles, I am...

Think I might have stumbled acroos another application method! I wet sanded back my F-16 stab trial piece lthis morning to see if I could get rid of all the horrible fluff I pick up using a foam...

Some how managed to pick up a load of dust/hair/fluff in my roller by the looks so no great. Waiting to see if I can sand it out!

Wow...That looks superb. Nice job.

So to sum up what is you final verdict on this stuff. Roller or foam brush? Thinned unthinned? better than glass?

Did you get yours primered yet? I think I read somewhere you used about 6oz in total for the whole airframe! Is that right. (cant find the exact thread now)
