you will need new tires very soon . start shopping. for the street, traxxas anacondas are great . i run my vxl on 3 cell Lipo with anacondas geared 25/86. it can go 65+ MPH . sick .

put alluminum shock caps on , they do not pop off , also you can replace the shafts with the titanium nitride coated ones . traxxas makes both those things . good cheap upgrades .

Wet Track

I did my second race ever yesterday ! Had alot of fun . Raced in 2wd SC and 4WD SC with my Slash's .

The track was watered heavily before the second heat and it was a totally different feel ....

Most durable and least expensive to run is the slash . I have one and it is very easy to work on as well . Parts are very easy to get . Not the best for racing , but fun to drive . Iwill probably buy...

I did my first race last night , 2wd SC with a Slash , and 4wd SC with a Slash .

I qualifed 2nd on my first run in 2WD SC then it was all down hill from their . I had a bad crash on the practice...

Iam finding out that the lower KV velieon motor had more torque or low end power than the MMP does . I guess higher KV is higher...

Mamba Max Pro questions

Put a MMP system ( 4600 ) in my slash 4x4 yesterday . Still learning how to set it up for racing on a clay track . Any suggestions as far as the settings go for racing with that system ??</p>
