Steve,
The Fromeco d-cup, so called because it's actual designation is DC-up, is a capacitor that plugs into the receiver. If it senses a low voltage, it discharges as much as 6V to the receiver...

RE: Futaba R6014FS Recevier

This discussion seems closely related to a problem I had with my 12FG and R6014FS this past weekend. I posted the issue on another tread, but I am repeating it below. My power supply is a 7.4 V,...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Billy,
I was really sorry to hear about your Bobcat - especially after having seen you having so much fun with it. The DX7 seems like a perfect answer to interference problems, but I was going to...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

Airbourne,
My QQ 85" also has a DA 50 which I mounted with the standard DA 2.5" standoffs without the additional blocks that would have move the engine forward another 1/2 to 3/4". The 4500 ma and...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

Now that I've got my DA 50 back from DA, I'm going to have to give some thought to prop spacing on My QQ Yak. I'm a retired aero engineer, but almost all my experience is on jet powered aircraft. ...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

Splais,
Cockpit looks great. Is this the 102" or the 85" Yak? If the latter, I'm going to use it on my airplane.

To others on this thread re Wing dimensions.
I noticed that on my TOC 30%...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

Splais,
Where did you get the virtual cockpit in the appropriate scale for the 85" Yak? I'm considering closing off the canopy to conceal all the framework below without adding too much weight. ...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

Folks,
Even though the QQ website says the 85%" Yak is sold out, Wayne at QQ told me via telcon Monday that they still had a few left. I ordered one and I'm expecting it within the next few days. ...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

Ted,
I originaly had the stock DA 50 muffler that I was going to use on my 30% TOC yak 54. This would have required a higher cut up the side of the cowl than I wanted so I went with the slimline...

RE: TOC 30% FLAME YAK-build

Banche & Kevin,
I saw 2 40 % TOC Yak 54's and one 30 % Yak 54 at the Western fun fly at Castle AFB, CA at the end of May. All of them looked fantastic ( the Bordeaux Red scheme) and the 40 %s flew...
