Thanks Ian, this is just about what I did. Flattening out the curve around the mid stick worked well..

You are so! right. I cant believe how much power and control these little things have. They are really a hand full. I've got my rates way down so I don't scare myself silly.

Thanks for the curve help. After reading my Futaba book more closely I see that the the exponential function does not work with the pitch/throttle function so that is out.

Yup, just clamped it down so I could run it up (without it trying to take off) to break in the motor and set the mixture etc. It worked great, first hover has perfect.

She lifted straight up with almost no trim required. Very sensitive...

Thanks Randy. I understand how to to set the 5 point pitch curve to get what I want(thanks for the degree help), but I don't understand how the SWASH pitch value works.

Folks, my Futaba 8 does not do a very good job of explaining the swash settings other than how to do it. I assume you are setting the maximum amout of movement in Aileron, Elevator and Pitch.

Has anyone used the Hacker controller with the Hacker motors in a logo 10 or similar helo. I've seen alot of Hacker/Shultze combo's but no one mentioning the Hacker ESC.
