if they "drop the ball" on 1 customer out of 50 that's not bad. i sent in a dx6i and upgraded to the dx7. the dx7 i received had servos, etc. with it, i alsoo got a receiver i wrangled out of them...

the ar7100 has a power slot in it as i understand it. can this power slot be used to power an external BEC instead of soldering the BECwires into the EC3 that the battery plugs into to.

if you look at the manual, it looks like an align gyro on the cover instead of the HB730

nothing wrong with EC3's. you can't get soldier on outside of bulletts and be a little careful when pushing bulletts into blue case.

out of curiosity i priced the electronics, seperately, for the align <font size="1">KX015076 and deducted the total from the price of the kit. the frame costs 13 dollars...

that frame is an align sport. it is identical. even has the viewing windows to level servos. and the battery tray has the small cutout in it. the gyro mounting pad is identical. the way the tail...

a 6 channel fits just fine in frame. the frame has a servo mounting pad. i mounted the esc under the battery tray and the Bec is mounted horozontal to the esc. plenty of room.

heliquest sells it for 379. so i emailed helidirect and they price matched. and i think you can get free shipping also. i am just about finished with mine.
no complaints. nice gyro, i like the way...
