anyone countersteer their drifters yet?


made this baby right here at 95% countersteer. rear wheels spin almost twice before the front spins once. woowhoo!

what kind of servo are you using? usually if you go to your local hobby shop they have different color servo arms, usually blue purple and red.

dont get the e10. get a tto1. much more hop ups than the e10. lmk, i acutally have a tt01 for sale, hopped up with aluminum upper and lower arms in the front, aluminum drive shaft, aluminum steering...

from what i learned on brushed motors. just hook up wires to the +/- and connect it to a 9v battery or your 6pack nihm battery and dump it into water as it spins and that should be a proper brake in.

the camber is basically for looks, when on asphalt, tires will grind down flat eventually making it back to 0 camber. but for me either way, it is more controllable on asphalt than it is one carpet....

the pulley slows down the speed of the front wheels and the extra tensioner is to get rid of the slack. basically this setup is called Countersteer for more realistic drifting and less sliding. way...

front and rear diffs are stock 32t
front center: 10t custom pulley (alloy)
rear center 18t from cyclone w/ sprint rear belt

Get a sprint 2 drift, then get a ball bearing diff ($20), lock the rear diff, 32 and 35 mm rims would be fine with the stock 15t. then change your plugs to deans plugs. and invest in a spectrum dx2.0

just get a brushless kit and invest in a spectrum dx2.0 and you'll be fine if this is going to be a long hobby for you. also look into lipo.

is the Electronic Team Associated TC3 a good chassis?

im looking at this ETA TC3 rc and just wondering if those are good to drift or if its a good chassis to use? a local has one and at a pretty good deal. any help would be great! thanks!
