You never want the klunk to go forward.  It will hangup and cause a crash.  That's why there is a straw over the klunk line to keep it straight.

I was flying at the electric line and it went right over our heads in slow roll and crashed behind us.  I have a post crash video and some pics I will post tomorrow.
