I havent been in here long enough either to know all the in and outs. The temp gauge wire goes around the head as close to the glow plug as possible.

Yea I have heard that also. I have a temp gauge now. What temp do you think I should try not to exceed. The instruction say 200-220 is about right but hear other people saying 250-270.

Do you mean just let it sit there at a idle, or drive it around using small burst? Do you know what the needle setting should be for breakin?

The manual is very vauge on this subject. I have heard Idle through something like four tanks and go really slow for the first gallon or just keep it under 1/2 throttle for a few tanks and then tune...

I will let you know if they give me a new one. I think the whole battery pack shorted inside the radio. I dont think one bad cell would light up like that but cross wires on eight cells and poof!!
