I ran in to the same problem when I bought the Force .26. I had to buy this engine mount. Good Luck!

This engine mount will probably fit.

I can't give any insight as to the problem, I haven't had this happen yet....

Just make sure you don't run it until you fix it. My friend did this and it blew his tranny.

I bought the same mount....but mine didn't have the longer holes, just the regular holes for the screws.

By the way, I am not German ...I am in the US Army in Germany. :)

I went ahead and bought the GPM Billet Aluminum Engine Mount (gpmsav1080). It is coming from Hong Kong, at www.rcxshop.com , so hopefully it will get here pretty quick.

Not exactly...the new Force .26 will not mount in the Savage. You need a GPM Billet Aluminum Engine Mount (GPM Part # gpmsav1080) ANd it is hard as hell to find

I guess we all have our own preferences, don't we?? I would have gone with the Picco .26, but I'm not a band wagon kind of guy...especially when 2 other people I run with already have the Picco .26....

I just purchased the Ofna Force .26 on Ebay, so as it turns out I took nobody's advice....Sorry Guys..but thanks for the input. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I am actually left handed also...with the Futaba Savage Radio I have gotten used to throttle and steering with one hand....I use my index finger for throttle and my thumb for steering....gets easy...

The denatured alcohol works, huh? if I cover the electronics with balloons, that will protect them enough for the alcohol and water? What about the carb/engine head, etc...will it hurt that stuff? ...

I know what you mean.....

That degreaser practically melts the dirt off, and afterwards makes everything shine.

I don't think I have to worry about rust, after the sun dries it I bring it in...

I take the wheels, spray with water, and let dry. While they are drying, I strip the radio equipment and spray one half down with carb and choke...

You should see a little oil dripping from the pipe, that is normal.
