Yes my jett is a bit finicky. Is it true that the nelsons a much more user friendly? Both are the same performance too aren't they?

Why don't you check out the Lanier Dominator 1500. It is a larger q500 style plane. Used in the large scale pylon races. Might be interesting or at least give you a guideline.
