RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

I've never...

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

I never have. I know it is the one thing I can 100% be assured that I will not do.

Its on my mind before I ever arrive at the field. I go down the line stating my frequency to the other...

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

What you witnessed is well noted branded. But It does not disprove my statement.

Once I follow the rules and give up my transmitter to the impound area, I reliquish ownership temporarily...

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

Your position generalizes when the issue that has raised controversy is not.

Shoot downs from someone being negligent by turning on thier transmitter is the issue.

I believe that keeping...

RE: "No Fault" liability in the event of accidental loss of model. A condition of Club Membership? AMA?

Which came first, the threat of litigation, or the people who shot someone down wanting to shirk doing the right thing?

When people own up to what they have done, there is no need to...

RE: Being "Shot Down"

Heck yeah, I'll have my transmitter on before I even get out of my truck, I'll get to fly sooner as anyone on my frequency will not be up in the air by the time I get my stuff unloaded. Thats the...

RE: Being "Shot Down"

I know some have replied and said to me that no one is advocating the shirking of responsibility.

The question I have to that is.

If that is true, what are we debating about?

Maybe no...

RE: Being "Shot Down"

If I owned an airplane that expensive, I certainly would take steps of my own to help ensure a safe flight.

However I do not believe pilots should have to assume all risks of the...

If you can't afford to accept responsibility, stay away from the field with your transmitter. My 200 dollar airplane shouldn't...

Nope, I'm saying that even after a pre-flight, we accept that we are not entirely in control of a failure.

Our transmitters are never in that same position to be out of control of the on/off...
