Thats only part of the need for insurance. There are things thats can happen that are beyond our control and insurance protects us from one another in many different cases for many different...

If someone could prove that you do not have 100% control over your transmitter you might have a point. It is not an accident, it is carelessness 100%.

I will never face that, cause I have never turned on my transmitter without checking with everyone on the field, period. And never will, I am never in a hurry, I have sometimes spent 45 mins before...

Yup and drivers can be penalized if thier actions are shown to be something other than rubbing paint.

Nope, I'm saying that even after a pre-flight, we accept that we are not entirely in control of a failure.

Our transmitters are never in that same position to be out of control of the on/off...
