B-1B, twin EDFs?

Hi, I have some electric experience (not a lot), but I have a "dream project" that I'd need some help, to get it done right.

I would like to build a foam B-1, using a pair of 40mm or 50mm EDFs. ...

Aircraft gearboxes?

DNG, on electric planes, here. I have several odd motors, from various attempts. I ran into WebOcalc, which seems fairly helpful for props/planes, but sometimes it wants a gear box, to swing some...

My Titan is well balanced with the CG located 5.25" behind the leading edge, at the wing roots.

RE: Titan Air Hog Stunt Glider

I made a Titan as a slope-soaring RC glider, and it came out fairly well. The wingtips have a larger cross-section than the main wing area, so I cut the trailing edges straight, and sanded the foam...

Coroplast wings?

Hey,
I like the idea of building with coroplast, but now I have a question. I found the Wonda plans, and that one turns my key. Looks like a good first coroplast plane, since all the rest of mine...

RE: Theres an APP for that

HK600,

Hey, sounds good. Does it give a range of proellers, or just one? I don't have anything to do with Itunes.
Does anybody have any program something like that, for a PC or laptop? It must...

RE: Large foam chuck glider- RC conversion

MajorTomski,

Thanks. That's the unit I ordered from Tower Hobbies, but I have not seen it yet. Hopefully, it will make a good starting point.

Are there any other foam (glider) planes, maybe as...

RE: Large foam chuck glider- RC conversion

MajorTomski,

I looked on their web page, and did not find anything but little toys. The local Hobby Lobby store is mostly just crafts and cloth.

Got a SKU #? The UPC number would be even better...

RE: Large foam chuck glider- RC conversion

Kurt,

Thanks. Those planes are kinda small, and the goal here is a motor-glider, to power-up and fly in thermals, or slope soaring. I'm hoping to use a
folding prop, or a fold-away motor pylon...

RE: Large foam chuck glider- RC conversion

ElectricFlyGuy,

Thanks.
TRU had no clue, maybe because it's still snow season here.
WallyWorld said to come back in a few months (at least they knew the product), so I guess it's a sesonal...

RE: Large foam chuck glider- RC conversion

Lnewqban,

Thanks.

I did find the Tower glider, but the others were a bunch of busted links, or "get it at WallyWorld." WallyWorld doesn't even have it on their web page, but who even knows what...
