WOrked on it again today.
Borrowed a megatron starter and its now behaving much better.
Still not hand starting well, but with the compression release buttons, the electric starter works great!

I don't think it's for crank case pressure.
This tap is in the reed block....that black piece which hold the reeds. It is between the carb and the reeds.......but I may be wrong.

Finally got the stearman together enough to try and fire up the Quadra 150.

I need some help here guys......The carb is not drawing fuel.   There is no choke, so I have been squirting fuel...

Looks like I have a compatibility issue.  The AR9000 is DMS2 and the 921x is DMSX.....heading to RC Hobbies.

I guess the only way to know for sure what I haveis to pull the rear cowling....I will post what I find in a day or two (or three).
