RE: DX6i for mCX2 or mSR

I would think the RTF transmitter for the mCX2 would be fine. Don't know about the mSR. I had an RTF transmitter on my mCX2. When I hooked up the Dx6i, I didn't really notice any difference. The RTF...

RE: Buying a Transmitter

I have a 6i and it is fine, and works on my Phoenix sim out of the box. If you just starting out, I suspect you'll get your money's worth from the 6i. Also, double-check on the 7s. I recall it needs...

RE: Battery and Chargers

I just bought a Duratrax Onyx charger and parallel charger cables for two different batteries. Go to http://www.duratrax.com, and see if they have what you are looking for.

RE: Very new

A 400 may be too big to fly in your area, especially if other people are around. Could be very dangerous.

May want to try a Blade mCX2 or CX2 to just get started. Much easier than a CP. Could work...

RE: Is FP really that different than CX?

+1 on the sim

and for someone <u>new</u> to helis, NOTHING is "<u>easy</u>" to fly at first, not even a co-ax.. Trust me from experience. Need to set realistic expectations on the learning curve....

RE: Beginner Airboat for My Wife

They look great, but my wife wants one that looks like an Everglades airboat, like the Aquacraft. By the way, as she re-emphasized to me, this will probably be more of a toy than a hobby.

RE: Beginner Airboat for My Wife

Electric definitely. Wife likely won't mess with fuel. Looks like the Alligator Tours might be the best option, and from the vids I've seen, it isn't snail slow, so could be fun for her. If she ever...

Beginner Airboat for My Wife

My wife has hinted at getting an RC boat to run around our retention pond. Frankly, it may never go beyond that, so keep that in mind. She has mentioned airboats a couple of times. A little speed...

I have 200's for my mCPX2 and get about 4 minutes. Pretty much what the manual says. They also say 3 minutes for hard flying, but I'm just a noob and not there yet....

RE: Best Beginner Heli for me? Read:

I won't recommend specifics, but I would think anything other than a micro indoors is just asking for disaster. Anything bigger than a micro packs a heck of a wallop if you run into something....

RE: mcx2 problems????

Try re-binding.

Then, move the right stick forward and back and see if your linkages under the main props move.

If they do, try flying again. If not, did you happen to crash at all? May have...
