It is a two piece mount so to make the mount more narrow (to fit the OS) means Iwould have to move the blind nuts just a hair. Idoubt Icould do that without making a new firewall.Iwas hoping...

Iwas thinking about the shims and your "horseshoe" ideais really what would be better than two wafers on their own.

The mount is fiber and its drilled wider than Ineed it to be for the OS engine....

Tiger Dilema:
So Itook off the Thunder Tiger and my OS doesn't line up with the existing mount. I need tomake it morenarrow by a few milimeters. There's no way I'm moving blind nuts that distance....

The carb came loose but that wasn't the problem today.

Gorilla glue works great for me also. The more moist the two pieces are the more that glue will swell and foam up. Iuse that to my advantage and wet piecesas needed but some people don't like Gorilla...

Tried the 11x7 Master Airscrew GF/3 and it flew nice. RPM's were higher and the speed was plenty.
Today I'm going to try an APC 12x6.

"too much load" is exactly what it is. It feels heavy and RPM's are lower than they probably* should be.

That's what Iwas thinking overall. If Iwant super speed Imay need to pony up and get a mustang. The Tiger flies fantastic. Very stable. Easy to get comfortable with, relax, and enjoy the flight.
