If that is true with the cycling of NiCads and NiMH, then why don't all chargers have a discharge capability? I'm soooo confused right now of what will meet my needs without spending $200 or more on...

More stuff to buy for what? To me they are gimmicks in a lot of ways. Don't forget all of those "sensors" suck up juice....so it's a battery drain if you ask me and besides - when are you going to...
