Well..lets see.. undignified crashing of the Aerobird.. so.. building a scratch build Beaver...
Doing the plans in Autocad... grabbing bits of info here and there..
Hope to make the first fuse cut...

Yea.. I know the electronices wont.. but.. they want 50 clams for a fuse when and if the T-Hawk will work for 9 bucks.. thought I'd buy one and a boom just to see..

I embedded short pieces of bamboo across the crease/fold/break...I have flown it twice since and once it took a real power dive and the wing survived so far.. LOL.. all the stars are probably not...

Alfat,

They are pretty easy to repair, just tape over it with packing tape. I usually, depending on the hun k missing, CA some blue foam in the hole, sand it down, put tape on it and off I go again

Well.. let's see.. Hard Landings? Same here.. I'd almost bet the tail boom popped out of the little snap holder inside the fuse. Open the cockpit hatch and see it its popped out. Mine did...

My AB is pretty rsponsive.. even without the Xtreme Tail. Are you certain you have the trim correct?
I found that trimming isn't "close enough" if you want to stay in the air..and have good control....
