I really like the black outline!! I have some dark blue trim in the shop, I may try that technique. It really adds that "final touch" to the aircraft.

I spent all winter repairing this "project plane" that I bought from a fellow flyer. The fuse had some serious structural damage and some of the sheeting had to be removed and replaced....

I agree, it looks like the previous owner repaired it with some balsa planks, not ply. It definitely would have been a total loss if it had come apart during a low level high G maneuver.
