Ive got the wing built with out any dihedral, just flat like the original. The balsa in this kit is brittle and dry must be that its so old. Had a little warp in the wing when i put the first coats...

I was wondering about the weight differences using dacron line or wire line. Ive got a good off set on the rudder. I did make a weight box in the wing tip and im trying different amounts of lead...

I do remember when the empty glue tube was listed in the instructions. The instructions for this one say......Use 6 inches of solder!...but it doesn't say what size solder to use.....figure that one...

How much is to much weight on the outside wing tip. I dont want it flipping over toward me in flight and i dont want it to heavy on the outside either. How would I know with out first test flying the...

I for one have tied a string to a plane and swung it around in circles. Then I found out about plastic planes with real motors!! They had two strings connected to the plane and a to a handle you put...

Your right Sourdough..It was a handful...For a very short time....It made a fast flat take off but, 3/4 the way around on the first pass, the right wing tip came up, and over, [X(]the lines went...

One more word on connecting the wing, It does show them being held to the fuslage with struts but does not show how it is held in place on top of the fuslage..

I have reinforced the nose with a built up balsa and plywood firewall for engine mounting. The kit says a .049 engine would power it but I belive that is to small so I'm using a Norvel BigMig .061...
