RE: The "Flight Sim for Mac" Protest!

The likeliness of a sim marketed for a mac has the same likeliness of a sim marketed for linux (ubuntu and similar linux based OSs). Lets face it: have you looked around the last time you were at...

RE: AeroCat Fast Pusher *70 MPH*

Sure have. Funny how an exact replica flies ever so differently than the original. I got an easy 30-40 flights from the original kit. I had to crash the replica on my 3rd flight. Lost...

RE: AeroCat Fast Pusher *70 MPH*

Scott,

My re-build is almost ready. I can't reuse the control horns that came with the original kit and I'm much too horrible of a builder to make my own. Any chance I can send you some paypal...

RE: AeroCat Fast Pusher *70 MPH*

You betcha I traced this one. This airplane turns too many heads. I couldn't imagine not having this airplane as a permanent member of my hangar.

Basically, everything horizontal is black and...

RE: AeroCat Fast Pusher *70 MPH*

I'm flying the Aerocat with that set up. Very happy with the performance.

I think an 1800mah @ 20C would be a bit better because the voltage wouldn't decrease as much @ full throttle. I just...

RE: DNU - Going Electric

For the price and ESC included, that combo is pretty sweet. I'd recommend to use the "shut down" cutoff mode setting on the ESC. You can always throttle down, then throttle back up to make a...

Tangerine,

I have that white stuff over here too. It's been around long enough for us to start calling it something else that the forums probably won't like me writing. I want summer!

RE: DNU - Going Electric

I know this isn't a lipo forum but I had to throw in my 2 cents about lipos:

1. They are experimental, dangerous, and care should be used at all times. But then again, the same can be said...

RE: Spektrum Conversion For your Hitec Optic 6

Dave,

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, the DX6 is a rather basic radio. You do keep all the programming benefits from the Optic 6 with the added benefit of 2.4Ghz transmission: no signal...
