I agree and yes you are correct it is a foam type cowl deal but does have fiberglass on the outside. So i think I can get all that foam out and possibly still use the cowl. Possibly might need to...

Yup.. it was a kit i believe i can see the number and such on the parts inside the thing. So I don't think it was a scratch build.. Ah well.. I would bet its gotta be at least 20 plus years old maybe...

I was told the plane was called a Sistane. At least that's how this guy spelled it. Its the size of a 1/6 cub and high wing. Almost citabra and cub looking. I did an internet search but could not...

Ok thanks guys, I have it on a good scale right now its weight no fuel is 4 1/4 pounds, so i will pick up a 9.5x7 and a 9x7 and see what happens if thats better I will add a pipe down the line.
