RE: Extra 330L-EP Extreme 3D RC Acrobatic Plane ARF

I found the right aileron on my Extra330 has a very significant twist so near the root it's trailing edge DOWN but towards the wing tip it's trailing edge UP with about 2 deg difference. I suspect...

RE: Extra 330L-EP Extreme 3D RC Acrobatic Plane ARF

opjose,

Thanks for your response and you are right. I don't have much Extra 330 experience but I fly 50cc Troy Model Yak and GP Ultimate from time to time and I have to say I like the wing...

RE: Extra 330L-EP Extreme 3D RC Acrobatic Plane ARF

Maiden mine 2 days ago in "nice" Seattle weather. This is one of those demanding, overweight fiberglass ARF that requires some innovative thinking and a couple long nights of hard work. It looks...

RE: Freedom Flyer Anyone tried it yet?

Chris,
If that is the case, I apologize for my earlier comments about the originator of the FF design. I said it is a great kit to start with because I did like the flight performance of FF.
I...

RE: Freedom Flyer Anyone tried it yet?

I had flown FF for almost 4 months, ordered part from E4U a couple times.
Really like it at the beginning until components began to fail on me, first servos and then ESC. Not easy to work in the...

Latest X: I added the tail section of FORMOSA as well

Hey guys,
Instead of throwing crashed foam models into trash can, you can actually have some fun with them by making some "hybrid" experimental planes. I certainly had lots of fun with this one!

RE: ***Help on an Electric C-130 *****

Matt,
How do you hook up two brushless ESCs to one receiver? I don't think a Y connector will work.
In my case, there is only one battery.

Thanks,
Ben Liu

Experimental Park Flyers

I often experiment with wings from different planes for my park flyers to see how they perform and also enjoy the spirits of a "EXPERIMENTAL" pilot. Anybody doing the same thing? For example, this...

RE: Freedom Flyer Anyone tried it yet?

Dana,
If it go straight UP and then stall and crash, check 5 things:

1.) Make sure the batteries are fully charged.

2.) Make sure the battery is about 2 inches aft of the motor mount...

RE: i just ordered a freedom flyer

Freedom Flyer is a very good entry plane for those who just wants to get a taste of what E-flight is like. It is also very durable trainer when you take those inevitable crashes which often associate...

I fly two GWS planes now. One is a Beaver and the other is the E-Starter. E-Starter is more aerobatic and can easily fly inverted or do touch-and-go landings. Beaver on the other hand fly slowly...

RE: Freedom Flyer Anyone tried it yet?

It goes pretty fast 20~40 mph, depends on what the airplane is doing.
For trainer though, the often concern is not going too slow, instead it is going too fast that will be a problem.
For me, I...
