Which Trinity stock motor for my T4?

My local track is pretty smooth, but has some pretty hard motors? Between the P2K2, Monster Horsepower, and Green Machine 3 (all pro versions), which should I buy?

RE: pull-start + rear exhaust

Yeah, it is. I've done my fair share of research but I'm not finding a thing.

pull-start + rear exhaust

I'm looking to get the X-Cellerator racer kit because it is so cheap, but I don't know jack about small-blocks. I'm a buggy guy and my experience is in .21s. There's no way I'm buying another...

RE: looking for cheap off-road truck/buggy

Maybe the one you're talking about is the Piranha Digital Peak Charger. It's really popular, I've got one myself. No charger comes close in this price range. It's vast amounts of settings are...

RE: RE: RC racing on TV petition!

Kevin Pham

It's a long shot, but if it passes, I hope the R/C stuff will be on basic cable. I've only got around 50 channels. I don't even have Speed or Tech TV.

RE: RTR BUGGIES HOW FAST ??

The Swift doesn't hit 55. Trust me, I've seen a couple run. My Storm with an RG is slightly faster than a stock swift, but in a race, it'll beat it by a long shot. Props to the stock radio on the...

RE: GS Storm air filter question

bentley, don't ever use the rain cover, even in rain or snow. The stock air filter is a little small and can sort of choke the engine. Adding the cover will only reduce power further. Buy a new...

RE: Receiver question

As long as both the transmitter and receiver crystals are the exact same frequency channel, then that receiver will work.

RE: Newly Released Racing Buggy Kits

Here's what I'd like to know. Is the Lightning Pro 2 a kit a ARR like the original?

RE: Newly Released Racing Buggy Kits

The Kyosho Kanai 3 is out to select people and a rumor about a possible Thunder Tiger EB4 S3 has leaked out. The Hot Bodies Lightning Pro 2 has been confirmed and production should start sooner or...

RE: how do i unflood an engine?

Whoa! Hold up, don't put plug the air filter and don't plug the exhaust. Plugging the exhaust only chokes the engine (making it stall and eventually die faster) and using the air filter will make...

I'm pretty sure MHOR in Aurora does since they've got an outdoor track. MHOR R/C Raceway

RE: What Starter Box

Odd, I don't know if it's just my starter box, but the two stick packs seemed to have less torque then my gel cell. I experimented with all my stick packs (I used to race electrics) and found that...

RE: What Starter Box

I've got one. It's got enough power, as long as a 12v gel cell is powering the motors and not two stick packs. I think it would be a better deal if you get an Ofna single high torque motor starter...

RE: is there a conversion kit for the hyper 7

To a monster truck? From PBS to PCR? Check out nitrohouse.com because they should have some sort of Hyper 7 conversion kit, though it might not be what you're looking for.

RE: HELP! can anyone identify this buggy?

Pirate 10 is 1/10 scale, hence the '10' in Pirate 10. Whoa, that sounded pretty cool. It's pretty much either a really big outlaw stadium truck or a really small monster truck. I don't think it...

RE: Anybody got an idea how fast 8 port will push the PBS

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was in R/C Driver. Change the clutch bell to 14 or 15 tooth and you should be able to break 40.

RE: O.S or Novarossi?

The RZ, one of the best buggy engines of all-time, has been discontinued and replaced by the sad, error-filled VZ-B. There are some RZ-V01B's on eBay from time to time and those would be the only...

RE: os .21 rg or Hyper 21 8 port pull

Great choices, Scooz and IslandSavage! IslandSavage, you are definitely right about the money-to-performance ratio. There's no better deal in the big-block engine business than the O.S. RG, no...

945 are the most dependable high-torque servos I know of and are pretty inexpensive as well at $50. That's definitely the steering servo to get. Use one of the JR servos that come with the radio...

RE: os .21 rg or Hyper 21 8 port pull

Nitroaddict is right, don't go with a cheap starter box made by a low quality name like Duratrax. Ofna and Dynamite starter boxes both work very well. I went with the X-5 because it was pre-built. ...
