I have not put mine on a radar yet but it is fast enough to blow off a rudder. The balsa grain on my rudder ran parallel to flight and busted off about 10mm above the wing. Still had one rudder left...

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up putting Teflon tape on all three pistons under the o-rings. Retracts now go up and down.

Any idea where I can get a new o-ring? Tried 3 different places and 1/2" is too big and 7/16" is too small....

Just took it apart and it is probably a bad o-ring. Going to see if I can find one the right size.

What is the correct lube used for the o-ring in retracts?

Retract Leaking Air

I am building an Xtreme Jets BD5 and the nose gear retract is leaking air. When the gear is in the down and locked position it is fine but when it retracts all the air bleeds out rather quickly.

My BD5 arrived yesterday. Just a quick look over and it looks good. One question, only one hatch on the bottom of the wing for the aileron servo. Where does the flap servo go?
