Yes but there are those who buy air retracts AND THEN send them off for rebuild or buy an aftermarket electric actuator..
Not so uncommon according to what I se in different forums..[8D]

There is a connection between price and quality and it´s difficult to save money and at the same time get somthing to rely on,
believe me,i tried!

The retracts likes 7.4 volts,same as the ECU..

In the draken above we are going to use 2x4000 mAh lipo in hardcase (for cars I think?:D) and 2 Bec taking from each lipo serving the reciever.
One lipo for the engine and retracts and the other...

I´m a big fan of ROTO,simple to handle and good punch.. I use a 25 in a seafury,ESM Pilatus and a 1/4 Tiger Moth..Have a 35 in a TF Mustang and it´s perfect for that plane..

Ivé just ordered a fan to my Moki from Airworld,the biggest problem is by far cooling on my FW 190,getting the air where it does some good..
With the prop I use,a threeblade scale prop from Biela...

..and it´s not heavy no.. It´s a masterpiece of engineering and the radiator comes from ZDZ..The best part is the starter system,it has a automatic decompression valve like some large chainsaw´s...

I wrote something about this a couple of pages back that long DC cables are a big NO-NO..
This is why both Ivve with his B17 and me with my Lancaster has the batteries and speedcontrollers up...

On my ASM Lancaster that is electric I have mixed rudder with throttles on my 12Z so when I turn for example left the left engines drops in revs,big help to make nice turns without the tail...

I have a Dreidecker that works fine with wheel landings,different kind of aircraft yes,less wingloading..
It´s a lot easier "not tipping over" doing this and i feel that I have some control over...

A very good point! I have a TF p-51 that the nose would be really high whit a snaprolltendency if i tried a 3pointer,that one I do wheellandings all the time with..Videotime again!

:) Its slightly downhill and I have to get over the horse´s fence,no wind(that is propably the worst part),thats why it ended up landing half way down 400 feet strip..
